I would say this cake is a jiffy …The cake is moist, light soft with red colour and is frosted with cream cheese frosting… you will never know that it’s made in microwave.. we just have to mix the ingredients and microwave each layer… it takes only 2 minutes for each layer..In 15 minutes you will be ready with the cooled cake layers ready for frosting…
Finally I got that red colour for my cake…I have tried so many times but the colour of the cake always disappoint me…This time I got hold of the colour finally.. Make sure that you add enough colour to get The exact colour of the cake. I have used the foster red colour where I have used the while bottle to acheive yhis colour for this recipe. The best frosting that goes well with red velvet cake is cream cheese frosting… I Know many don’t have the baking oven but am sure they will have microwave so they can try out this cake too and enjoy that too quickly..Yhis cake doesn’t need any creaming process of butter and sugar we just have to mix together and pour and bake..

- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp Red food colour gel or paste
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1(240gm) cup cream cheese
- 1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp vanilla essence

- Grease the 6 inch pans..
- Mix together dry ingredients and keep aside
- whisk together eggs buttermilk ,oil , colour and essence
- Now gently mix in dry ingredients until well combined .donor over mix it it will become tough.
- Divide the batter into 3 and pour into the greased pans and microwave each for 2 minutes ...
- Then allow them to cool and prepare the cream cheese frosting..
- Then layer the cakes and frost it ..
- Cover the cake and can store for 4 days
- In a large bowl, cream together the cream cheese and butter Once light and fluffy add in the powdered sugar and vanilla and whip until it is smooth and creamy.
- This can be stored covered in the fridge for up to 4 days.

Ya no pblm you can do it… but I think you get only 2 layers .but you can double the amount of ingredients
